Integrated biometric devices with Odoo Attendance to deliver a more accurate and reliable attendance system within the HR environment.
The Challenge
Uptown School needed a more accurate, reliable attendance system that connected biometric-device data directly with the Odoo environment, instead of relying on separate or manual processing.
Our Solution
We extended Odoo's attendance system and connected it to an integration layer with the biometric devices, designing a synchronization and validation mechanism before data is approved inside the system: biometric-to-Odoo attendance linking, a sync pipeline for attendance data, validation rules to ensure accuracy, customized attendance workflow tied to lateness/absence/overtime, and dedicated HR reports.
